2: Deposit paid, I'll begin work
3: Remainder of payment on completion and your artwork is shipped to you in lovely gift packaging

MESSAGE FROM THE ARTIST
"A custom artwork is the perfect way to mark an unforgettable moment to surprise family or friends.
Just send me a message through my commission email here: ART COMMISSION EMAIL with your request and a photo(s) of your desired subject attached and we'll discuss how to create the best work of art for you. I will create works based on images of special people, places and pets.
A photo of good quality is very important for the best possible artwork. Please make sure that you have a quality reference photo. The ideal photo will be close-up with good lighting, contrast and resolution. The better the photo, the better the finished work will be. If you are not sure that the picture is of sufficient quality for a drawing, feel free to send me your photos for review. It is good to send several photos if possible, as this gives me an idea of the overall appearance and personality of a person/animal/place. We can decide together which photos will be best suited for the final sketch.
Portrait costs can vary depending on the size of the paper chosen, multiple subjects, and the complexity of any significant details such as clothing.

After you make the deposit payment discussed, I'll begin work. Once the drawing has an initial first pass on composition I will send you a digital image of the basic sketch i'm working on. (Please note this will not be the final work) If you want to add or change something at this point, I would be happy to do so.
After your approval, I will continue the art work to completion. Please Note: Past this point there can no longer be any alterations to the work. I will apply the fixative to prevent any smudging, package the work professionally and send it by registered mail.
The art work does not come framed and depending on size will be shipped in either a padded envelope with protective card sheets or a protected sealed artwork postal tube.
Each artwork is also given a certificate of authenticity, created by the studio and signed by the artist. The certificate also establishes provenance should your descendants choose to sell on the secondary market.
